Circulation Privileges and Responsibilities
High School and College students may check out 10 items from the three-week circulation collection. Restrictions may be placed on the number of materials checked out according to the situation. When returning materials to the library, place them in the book drop at the circulation desk.
Reserve Shelf materials man be checked out for the loan period specified by the professor of the class. When returning these materials to the library, give them directly to the library worker at the Circulation Desk. It is the student’s responsibility to be sure these returned items are given to a library worker. They may not be renewed, unless permission has been given by the professor.
Elementary students will be allowed to check out 5 items from the juvenile collection. They may be permitted to check out more at the request of a teacher or parent. They may not check out any audio-visual items.
Materials may be renewed at the end of the normal loan period if there has been no reserve placed on the item. Renewals can be made in person (with or without the items) or over the telephone.
