With access to over 100 libraries, the Greater Cincinnati Library SouthWest Ohio and Neighboring Libraries is a cooperative of area libraries organized to promote library services among and through member institutions. SWON Libraries consists of academic, public, school and special libraries in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Being a member of SWON gives our students and staff access to any library in the consortium. Membership also allows to us to participate in the Inter-Library Loan program. Individuals can order any item from another library in the consortium and have it delivered to the GBS Library. They can also return their materials from another library to the GBS Library, who will then return them to the library of origin.
When going to a SWON library, present your student ID card and your SWON card (available in the GBS Library) to the staff of that institution. Taking materials from another library obligates you to the rules and regulations of that library.
Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County

The main branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County is 1.8 miles from the school. There are also 41 branches scattered throughout the city and Hamilton County. GBS students are permitted borrowing privileges at all of these libraries. The PLCH has an impressive collection of over 4.7 million items
