Federal & State Aid

PROGRAM	ELIGIBILITY	TOTAL AWARD	APPLICATION PROCESS
Federal and State Grants and Loans
Federal Pell Grant	must be a US citizen or eligible noncitizen must have a high-school diploma or GED, or pass an Ability to Benefit Test enroll as a regular degree-seeking undergraduate register with the Selective Service (if applicable)	up to $2,125 per full-time semester (at least 12 credit-hours)	complete the FAFSA (use school code 015691) for fastest response, the FAFSA may be completed at www.fafsa.ed.gov
Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant	must be a U.S. citizen receiving Pell must have completed a rigorous HS program contact the Office of Financial Aid for additional requirements	$750/academic year for Freshman or $1,300/academic year for Sohpomores	complete FAFSA
Ohio College Opportunity Grant	must be an Ohio resident with financial need must be a full-time student in a degree program	amounts vary, up to $4,980 for an academic year for more information, visit www.regents.state. oh.us/sgs/oig.htm	complete FAFSA by October 1 each year
Ohio Choice Grant	must be an Ohio resident must be a full-time student in a BA program	up to $660/academic year for more information, visit www.regents.state. oh.us/sgs/ choicegrant.htm	complete FAFSA by October 1 each year

Please note: As you make application for a Stafford loan through Sallie Mae, you will have several lenders from which to choose. These lenders were reviewed and chosen because of features they offered. If you prefer a lender not on this list, please contact the Financial Aid Office for assistance in making application with that lender.
