 About Security
As your home away from home, God's Bible School and College is committed to providing a friendly and safe environment in which to live and learn. Our campus is located in Cincinnati, Ohio a metropolitan area of approximately 1,170,000 people which borders Kentucky, and Indiana. As a campus community, we enjoy good relations with our neighbors. History has proven that God providentially set God’s Bible School and College on a hill in the middle of extensive ministry opportunities, and for one hundred years has kept His hand of protection on us and our students.
Highlights
Campus Security is available to all of our campus residents. They keep residents informed, and maintain contact with local law enforcement to provide campus security. GBS maintains a strategically-placed intrusion alarm system which connects directly to our Security Department communication system. Security reports for the campus are available online with the U.S. Department of Education at http://ope.ed.gov/security. Campus and city security reports are also available on campus.
Campus Buildings
After-hours access to all buildings is by key or by approved access request. Selected areas have intrusion alarms monitored by campus security.
Reporting a Crime or Emergency
Any safety emergencies should be reported directly to 911. Criminal activities and emergencies should also be reported as soon as possible to a member of the Campus Security either in person or by telephone. The police and/or security officer will investigate the incident, document the information, and take appropriate action.
A crime that occurs off-campus should be reported to the appropriate police department. Security should be informed of any off-campus incidents so that they are able to provide information or warnings to students and personnel. |
