The Self Study
We are proud to make available online this copy of the GBSC Self-Study for the Higher Learning Commission. You may either go to the “Instructions” for information about navigating and searching the Self-Study, or you may go directly to the PDF of any section that might be of interest to you.
Also you will note that in addition to the various chapters, there is a comment button that will allow you to communicate with GBSC about this document.
Accessing the Self-Study
If you have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader, proceed to the next section below. If you do not have this program, it may be downloaded free of charge by clicking on “Adobe Acrobat Reader” on the bottom of this page.
Moving around in the Self-Study on the website
- The Self-Study is separated into its various sections. Each may be accessed by clicking on the name of the section.
- Navigate by clicking the forward or reverse arrows that are part of the Acrobat Reader button bar.
- You also can go to previously viewed sections by using the back button of the browser.
Searching the Self-Study
- You may search for a word or phrase in the section of the Self-Study you are looking at by entering “Ctrl F.” This activates the find function within Acrobat Reader.
- “Match whole word only” allows you to look for exact words.
- Not selecting this function allows you to do open searches. For example, typing “far” will find “far,” “fare,” and “Farmer.
