Michael R. Avery
Michael Avery grew up as a son of the South and a product of Methodist-holiness roots. He pastored with the Bible Methodist church for 11 years, served as a denominational leader for 5 years, served as General Missionary Secretary for the Bible Methodist Connection of Churches for 5 years, and has served as the President of God’s Bible School and College since 1995. He maintains an active schedule of speaking in camp meetings, revivals, conventions, and conferences. He holds degrees from God’s Bible School and College and Wesley Biblical Seminary. He is married to Ruth (Vernon), and they have two sons: Joshua and Jonathan. Josh is a graduate student at Miami University. Jonathan is married to Beth (Clemens) and is finishing a business degree at the University of Cincinnati.
