  • Merge donor and Revivalist lists

Establish tracking system for donors

  • Reclassify donors including creating an inactive status
  • Develop software program (script) that automatically and periodically reclassifies donors based on their giving level

Develop goals (and dashboard indicators)

  • Increase fundraising opportunities for Phonathon 2008 by calling Revivalist subscribers for the first time
  • Increase overall donor base by 5% annually
  • Analyze automatically re-classified donors to respond to their giving level changes
  • Begin year end mailing stuffers reminding donors of tax advantages of giving to GBSC before Dec. 31
  • Analyze and renew marketing of the Meal-a-Month Program to develop more monthly, systematic donors
  • Target 5% of Revivalist subscriber names (non-donors) to bring on as new donors to GBSC
  • Target per-person gifts for increase in frequency
  • Set systems in place to target donors for elevation to next giving level by 2%

Write more annuities

  • Find out if birthdays can be added in CAMS
  • Find and enter birthdays of donors in CAMS
  • Develop a script that will produce a report of donors by age
  • Send annuity information to those donors and follow up
  • Prepare packets of information to hand out at Homecoming to the 25 and 50 year graduates and at Campmeeting
  • Set up a table during Homecoming and Campmeeting with information about gift giving

Develop year-end reports

  • Print a report of donors who changed from inactive to active
  • Print report of donors who changed from "subscriber only" to a "donor"
  • Set a goal to increase these percentages by 2% in the next year
  • Send "inactive" and "subscriber only" business return envelopes with projects they could help with

Increase matching gift donors

  • Get a list of corporations who participate in matching gifts programs
  • Research ways to get more donors involved in the matching gift program
  • Send letters to donors and include the list of corporations who participate in matching gift programs
