How It Works

Your student stays enrolled in your homeschool program while taking 8 dual-credit courses through GBSC. These count toward both high school and college.

• 3 college credits = 1 high school credit
• Courses help meet graduation requirements
• Diploma awarded through Aldersgate Christian Academy (ACA), affiliated with GBSC

Admission & graduation

Requirements

Admissions

Apply before your senior year.

• Application
• Pastor’s Recommendation
• Must live 50 miles or more from Aldersgate Christian Academy

Graduation

Due before March 1 of senior year.

Complete all ACA Graduation requirements.

Notify academy office of intent to graduate and include the following:

• School transcripts through Fall
• A list of currently enrolled classes
• Graduate’s measurements for ordering regalia (if the student intends to walk):
  • Head circumference
  • Height
  • Weight

Due before May 1 of senior year.

• Final homeschool transcripts
• IOWA or ACT test results
• $1,000 graduation/transcription fee (can be paid online)
