Bible & Theology

The AA degree in Bible & Theology is designed for students who desire a sound biblical foundation upon which to build their life. It is ideal for the student who is not sure what God wishes for their life or for the student who is planning to transfer to another college to pursue studies in an area that we do not offer.

Biblical & Theological Studies

The BA degree in Biblical & Theological Studies teaches leadership skills in basic ministry functions such as personal evangelism, the conduct of discipleship groups, and teaching biblical doctrine. These students will have a strong grasp of the basic doctrines of classical Christian theology, as well as our unique Wesleyan emphases and contributions to its enrichment and development.

Ministerial Education

The AAS degree in Ministerial Education is ideal for students who are unsure of their calling to preach. The AAS degree will give you the 9-hour preaching sequence which prepares you to enter the BA in Ministerial Education.

Ministerial Education

The BA degree in Ministerial Education gives you many tracks to choose from: Pastoral Counseling, Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Urban Ministry, Christian Leadership, World Missions, Music Ministry and Christian Education.

All BA track options will introduce you to research methodologies unique to the disciplines of biblical studies, systematic theology, church history, and pastoral theology.

Teacher Education

The AAS degree in Elementary Education prepares you to assist in Christian school ministry.

The BA degree in Teacher Education prepares you to teach students in private and public settings at the early childhood, elementary, or middle and high school levels.

The BA degree gives you three tracks to choose from:

  1. Elementary Education track
  2. Early Childhood Education track
  3. Adolescent and Young Adult Integrated Language Arts Education track (not available online)

Church & Family Ministry

The BA degree in Church and Family Ministry prepares you for leadership in a church or para-church organization, specifically in the context of children, youth and family ministry.

Intercultural Studies & World Missions

The AAS degree in Intercultural Studies & World Missions is for laypeople who may be interested in short-term missionary work or in working with missionary organizations.

General Studies

The AA degree in General Studies will prepare the student for further academic study. You will be able to identify a number of personal, academic and career goals. It will also equip you with strategies that are consistent with a Christian approach to life.

Integrative Studies

The BA degree in Integrative Studies is aimed at helping you prepare across multiple disciplines in an increasingly complex world. This degree will help you philosophically and practically integrate multiple disciplines.
