Proverbs Bible Study
We are excited you are considering joining the free Bible study on Proverbs with Dr. Phil Brown! You can register by emailing enrollment@gbs.edu or calling 513-763-6565.
Format
The Bible study will begin on March 31 and end May 14. Each week on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30am (EST) Dr. Phil will share a live video lesson via Facebook and YouTube for 30-40 minutes.

The lectures will be recorded so that if you are unable to attend during the live session you can watch them later.

Dr. Phil Brown will do his best to respond to questions and comments posted online during the lesson or at the beginning of his next lesson. However, please note it may not be possible for him to respond to every comment and question.
Textbooks
The main textbook for this study is the Bible. Below are additional resources that will be used.
- Dr. Phil Brown is preparing a commentary on Proverbs that will be made available to all participants free of charge.
- If students wish to take the Proverbs Bible Study for credit they will need to purchase this book: Proverbs (Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries).
If a student is taking the study for graduate credit they will also need to purchase: Proverbs: An Introduction and Commentary.
College Credit
The Bible study is free for those who take it as noncredit. However, students can choose to earn 3 credit hours by doing additional assignments.
The cost for taking the study for undergraduate credit has been discounted to only $137.50 per credit hour. High school students are welcome to take the study for dual credit if they wish. You don’t have to sign up for credit before the study starts, but notify enrollment@gbs.edu as soon as possible after making that decision so you can be enrolled as a student and registered in the course. Also, students interested in graduate credit should contact enrollment@gbs.edu for more information.
