Gift of Securities

Gifts of Appreciated Securities may be a convenient way of giving because:

• The amount of the gift to GBSC is the same as if you gave cash.
• Your charitable deduction is the same as if you gave cash.
• You can avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation of the securities
