Gift of Securities
Gifts of Appreciated Securities may be a convenient way of giving because:
- The amount of the gift to GBSC is the same as if you gave cash.
- Your charitable deduction is the same as if you gave cash.
- You can avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation of the securities
