The BA degree in Elementary Education and Music Education is designed for the student who plans to proceed directly into Christian school teaching in both the elementary and music classrooms and give elementary through intermediate applied instruction. You’ll have two tracks to choose from:

  1. K-12 Performance track
  2. K-12 Non-performance track

The K-12 Performance track is designed for students with a high level of performance proficiency who are preparing to teach in the Christian school (general music, choir, and band), give elementary through advanced applied instruction, and/or enter a graduate program in music. The K-12 Non-performance track, which is a five-year sequence, is designed for the student who plans to proceed directly into Christian school teaching (general music, choir, and band) and give elementary through intermediate applied instruction.
